Terms of service

These terms cover buying from myupspal.com. My UPS Pal is sold by Flamingo Media Group, based in Ontario, Canada. By placing an order you agree to them.

Orders and prices

Prices are shown at checkout, along with any taxes and shipping. If we've made a mistake on a price or can't fill your order, we'll cancel it and refund you in full.

Shipping

Orders ship from Canada. Once your order is delivered, it's yours, and so is responsibility for it. US orders ship with import duties prepaid. Rates and details are in our shipping policy.

Returns and warranty

Using My UPS Pal

My UPS Pal reports what your UPS tells it. It's a monitoring tool, not a safety system. Setting up shutdowns on your own computers, and checking that they work, is up to you.

Don't rely on it where a missed power alert could put people at risk.

Firmware

The firmware is open source under the GPL-3.0 licence. That licence, not these terms, covers how you can use, change and share it.

Limits

As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect losses, like lost data or downtime. Our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer protection law where you live.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
